Really, with so much stuff on the Internet now, everyone seems to be capable of booking and making their own travel plans. And we haven't even mentioned smart phones! The truth is, there are still some things out there that only professionals know how to deal with. For example, if you're taking a cruise to the Caribbean and you're making several stops (in other words, a really complicated type of travel) just go with a travel agent's advice.

Best of all, make it a point to find a travel agent that "specializes" in your particular type of travel or destination.
